The 2027 Ram 1500 is beginning to take shape, and Alberta truck shoppers have plenty to look forward to. Ram Canada has confirmed that the new model year continues with the 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo engine family and the returning 5.7L HEMI® V8, but some of the biggest news involves exciting additions to the lineup.
New 2027 Ram 1500 Trims to Watch
One of the biggest announcements is the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee. Designed as a street-performance muscle truck, the Rumble Bee family is expected to offer multiple performance levels, including versions powered by the 5.7L HEMI V8, a 6.4L HEMI V8 and a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8. Ram Canada says availability is projected to begin in late 2026, depending on the model.
Even bigger is the return of the 2027 Ram 1500 SRT/ TRX. Ram has confirmed the new TRX with a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 producing up to 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque.
Familiar Ram 1500 trims such as Tradesman, Big Horn, Sport, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, Longhorn and Tungsten could also continue into 2027, although Ram Canada has not yet published a complete Canadian trim breakdown for the conventional 2027 Ram 1500. The 2026 lineup currently includes these models alongside special editions such as Black Express.
What About New 2027 Ram 1500 Colours?
Unfortunately, as of the date of this post, the complete 2027 Ram 1500 colour palette hasn’t yet been officially released for Canada. Current Ram Canada imagery shows 2027 trucks in green, silver and white, while the new Rumble Bee has been previewed in striking yellow, red and grey finishes. Popular 2026 colours such as Serrano Green Metallic, Molten Red Pearl, Forged Blue Metallic, Hydro Blue Pearl, Diamond Black Crystal Pearl and Silver Zynith may provide clues about possible carryover choices, but final 2027 availability could vary by trim.
For drivers around Slave Lake, Alberta, the 2027 Ram 1500 lineup is shaping up to offer everything from hardworking everyday pickups to some seriously powerful performance trucks.
